Abachi Tonewood is a lightweight wood from West Africa also known as Ayous. Perhaps not as well known as the classic body tonewoods for electric guitar such as Alder or Swamp Ash, Abachi tonewood is an execellent choice for guitar or bass bodies. Abachi has open pores and is considered a softer wood similar to basswood.

Take Abachi Tonewood into consideration if you prefer your guitars or basses to be lightweight.
