The tonewoodshop is the brainchild of its founders Rick Koorman and John Muijen. After their initial meeting some 10 years ago they became friends and soon thereafter they began discussing the possibilities of starting an internet store offering high quality tonewood aimed at guitar builders in the EU.

After a looong period of time and many brainstorm sessions their idea started to take shape and early 2024 they decided to take the leap and incorporated the Tonewoodshop BV.

Quality Tonewood only

High quality tonewood is our specialty and that is the only product that we offer. We believe that focussing on tonewood allows us to source, select and offer the best quality tonewoods for your next build.

New Tonewood added weekly

We are working hard to source and prepare new tonewood to be added to our store on a weekly basis. New tonewood selections will be annoucnced through our newsletter and social media so make sure to sign up.
