Alder Body Blanks for Electric Guitar & Bass

Since the 1950's Alder Body Blanks are associated with Fender guitars and basses. Alder is a fairly light tonewood and has a balanced tone where low, mid and high frequencies are evenly divided. The tight grain pattern of Alder makes relatively easy to finish and therefore Alder is a perfect tonewood for body blanks. Our Alder Body Blanks are prepared in house. Raw lumber is sawn at our sawmill, planed to thickness and glued together using Titebond woodglue. Most of our alder body blanks are 2-piece body blanks although we sometime have some rare one piece alder body blanks.
